The bright, clear and stabilised image provided by these binoculars makes them perfectly suited for outdoor wildlife and astronomical observation.
The binoculars are very versatile. They are not only used for wildlife observation and stargazing, but are also used by spectators at sporting events and by audiences at live concerts. For example, excellent image stabilisation is achieved through the application of the proven FUJIFILM lenses in digital cameras and TV cameras allowing the oscillations recorded by a gyro sensor to be compensated by a precisely controlled prism in the optical beam path. Using four AA batteries, the stabilisation system operates for approximately 18 hours, with AA NiMH rechargeable batteries.
In addition, the large lenses with an effective diameter of 40 mm provide exceptional light intensity for these binoculars. The lens elements are optimally positioned in three groups and the eyepiece elements, which are six, are placed in four groups, minimising chromatic aberration and providing a clear image across the entire field of view. The unique FUJIFILM EBC multi-coating reduces annoying lens reflections and ghost images and increases light transmission.
