The Château troplong mondot was built at the end of 1800, when Raymond-theodore troplong bought it and expanded the Mondot Estate.

Château troplong mondot is cultivated in extensive vineyards with limestone clay soils. Powerful, well-structured, with pronounced complex tannins. Its deep aromas of truffles and blackberries develop over time.

17.5 / 20 blackish crimson. Interesting mineral notes in the nose. Very smooth and well sculpted. Great balance and mastery of tannins. There is a great emotion here. And a clean finish with no drying sensation. No excess alcohol either. / Jancis Robinson
