Mystery auction: MEADE LX200-ACF 16

MEADE LX200-ACF 16 TELESCOPE WITH TRIPOD 47325 For both visual observers and astrophotographers, the Meade LX200 ACF series offers Meade telescopes with considerable diameters, very precise and above all powerful. All models in this series are equipped with the innovative Advanced Coma-Free optical system. The most widely used commercial research telescope on Earth now also comes with the most advanced optical system in space! The Meade LX200 ACF telescope is one of the most efficient comma-free systems available. All new Meade LX200 ACF Series models offer the quality that all astronomers aspire to. Now you can have what the professionals have. The Meade LX200 ACF series telescopes include all of the features that the LX200s already had including GPS, primary mirror lock, Zero Image-Shift Microfocus, oversized primary, SmartDrive, Smart Mount, AutoStar II controller, and more. In addition, the Meade LX200 ACF comes with professional-grade optics developed in America and a 26mm Plössl 5-element eyepiece from the fantastic 5000 Series eyepiece series. Advanced Coma Free a f/10 optics: This optical design is well known to experienced astrophotographers and is the same system used in many of the world's leading professional and semi-professional observatories. The Meade LX200 ACF telescope is the perfect platform for the demanding researcher and enthusiastic astrophotographer. Meade's optical treatments: Ultra-High Transmission Coatings (UHTC) increase total light transmission and therefore image brightness by nearly 20% more than traditional Meade optical treatments. Objects such as stars, galaxies, and nebulae will appear significantly brighter. The Zero Image-Shift Microfocus: allows you to obtain accurate images without the image moving by a false focuser slide. This is a very important point for photographic applications. The primary mirror lock: allows you to fix the primary mirror so that it does not shift undesirably during a long exposure. Along with the robustness of the micro-focus, this is another key factor in successful quality photography. Oversized primary mirror: The diameters of the primary mirrors are larger than those listed as tube diameter (for example, the diameter of the LX200 ACF 8" -203mm- is actually 8.25" -210mm-). This additional 7mm increases both the field and brightness over what is expected. Smart Mount: The mount refines the pointing accuracy each time an object is centered and updated. Compatible with both equatorial and altazimuth mounts, the SmartDrive offers permanent periodic error correction (PPEC) in both axes after learning and making some calculations throughout the training process (or after a few attempts) to reduce the guiding error and thus minimize the corrections to be made throughout a photographic shot. PPEC is available for both axes and works for both polar and altazimuth modes. Sony GPS receiver: The GPS sensor automatically enters the exact time, date and geographic location values to help the telescope align itself more quickly and accurately. AutoAlign: Telescopes with the new AutoAlign method come pre-aligned. The AutoAlign routine recommends two fail-safe alignment stars for you, and places them comfortably in the centre of your search engine. Simply centre them to fine tune your alignment and the wonders of the Universe are within your reach. The AutoStar II controller has quick access buttons to over 145,000 celestial objects. AutoStar II can be updated with the latest firmware, new guided tours and temporary objects (objects like comets, visible only for a certain period)
