    The Pentax KP couples a new generation CMOS image sensor with the Prime IV image engine and an acceleration unit to expand the upper limit of the sensitivity range without generating annoying noise.

    With a maximum sensitivity of ISO 819200, it ensures high sensitivity photography to provide high resolution images, rich gradations and faithful reproduction of the subject's texture and depth sensation, even at the highest sensitivities.

    It also produces high quality images throughout the range of sensitivities, from the lowest to the highest.

    The Pentax KP consists of a stabilization system SR II (Shake Reduction II), whose five-axis mechanism ensures effective compensation of the movement of the camera in the different axes, as well as up to five shutter steps.
