    Only in vintages when both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay Grands Crus are ripening at the same time can an Alexandra Rosé millésimé cuvée be made.
     
    Laurent-Perrier, the author of a rosé champagne not millésimé of reference, had to offer sooner or later a prestigious rosé cuvée.
     
    Alexandra Rosé is an unusual and very sought-after wine that comes from a rigorous selection of the best estates of Grands Crus de Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
     
    In 2004, despite some hail episodes and storms during the spring and summer, the very favourable heat and dry weather of September led to an abundant and very mature harvest of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, although the latter was more heterogeneous.
     
    Pale salmon-pink colour.

    Very fine bubble persistence.

    Complex on the nose, where it develops aromas of wild strawberry and redcurrant jam with an evolution towards candied citrus notes.

    Elegant and fine, this is a wine with a great minerality.

    Soft and dry texture that leads to a persistent finish with the presence of forest fruits.
